Position Overview: ABPanelPC is seeking a meticulous and skilled Contract Production Assembler to join our team on a contractual basis. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of our product assembly line, focusing on the assembly of industrial panel PCs and related components. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Precision assembly of industrial flat-panel monitors, touchscreens, and related components.
  • Adherence to complex assembly instructions, processes, and procedures for optimal product quality.
  • Quality control checks to ensure adherence to specifications and identification of defects.
  • Safe and efficient operation of various production tools and equipment.
  • Interpretation of technical drawings and specifications in collaboration with the engineering team.
  • Maintenance of an organized and safe work environment, following all safety guidelines.
  • Inventory management, including parts and supplies ordering, stocking, and storage.
  • Detailed documentation of assembly processes and maintenance of accurate production records.
  • Troubleshooting minor technical issues during the assembly process.
  • Participation in continuous improvement initiatives for production efficiency and product quality.
  • Training and guidance for new or temporary staff in assembly procedures and safety practices.
  • Assistance in packaging and shipping preparation of finished products.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electronics or mechanical assembly highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production assembly role, particularly in electronics or industrial manufacturing.
  • In-depth knowledge of assembly techniques for electronic and mechanical components.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex technical documents, schematics, and assembly blueprints.
  • Demonstrated ability to use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong physical stamina and dexterity for handling small components and standing for prolonged periods.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Solid problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear collaboration with team members.
  • Basic computer literacy for efficient record-keeping, reporting, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Willingness to undergo skills training and safety certifications as required.
